Got off to a nice and relaxed start, and spent some time checking out the neat and giant St. Lorenz church, and then went shopping at the Christmas Market and picked up a couple nice surprise gifts for ourselves! After that we went over to the Kaiserburg – Nuremberg’s famous castle on a big hill built 1,000 years ago. Went back to the hotel to just relax for a little while (It was also raining outside annoyingly.) Then we took a tram down to the former Nuremberg Rallying Grounds of the Nazi Party to see the museum and display about the history of the Third Reich and their plans in around Germany, and the absolutely massive area set aside to ‘show off’ for pompous parades and events to celebrate that grandeur and power of the Reich. Went to a nice pizza place, and then relaxed in the hotel for the rest of the night which is much needed. It’s been so crazy and non stop action!
