-Finished off a bit of shopping in the Christmas Market in Aachen.
-Got in taxi with a grumpy angry taxi driver to train station.
-Took very long train ride to the city of Speyer
-Took train most of the way back down the Rhine we came up on with all the castles, as well as saw a river boat I saw docked in Amsterdam.
-Got in, in the evening, walked a very, very long painful walk to hotel after we were told it was short walk
-Hotel is an old former military barracks with only a room on the third floor and no elevator with massive luggage and souvenirs. It’s 90 degrees inside, and the room is about 3×4 feet big with no AC
-Got in taxi to another hotel with another grumpy angry driver
-Finally got decent hotel
-Went to Christmas market for about 30 minutes before it closed. (Of course we got our mugs first thing.)
-Good night.
