Finally made it after what seemed like the fastest trip to Europe ever. 10.5 hour flight from LAX to Stockholm Arlanda Airport for a 6 hour layover which went by in record time then a quickie hour and thirty minute flight south into Berlin’s Schönefeld Airport. Got off the plane grabbed my bag and made it to the trainstation and hopped on the local rail and waited and waited and waited only to find out it was kaputt. Broken. Hopped on the next train and after another train switch at a station I ended up at the famous Alexanderplatz.

Right outside the station is Germany’s tallest building, the Fernsehturm (television tower.) I was planning to head up for a view of the city but I decided to drop my baggage at my nearby hostel. But by then it was already midnight. And I hadn’t slept at all in 24 hours. Anyways…much more to come, oh so much more.
