Mostly A Long Travel Day

(Original travel date: 12/1/2023) Lots of organizing in the morning and making our way to the train station in the early afternoon for a 5 and a half-hour-long-cross-country-high-speed-train to our next destination. Dresden! Back in Florence on the Elbe. Except this time was a lot, Lot, LOT colder! Snow. Everywhere! And cold, so very, very cold.

Also a nice visit to the main and Germany’s oldst Christmas Market – the Striezlemarkt. “The Striezelmarkt in Dresden is one of the first genuine Christmas markets in the world. Founded as a one-day market in 1434, it celebrated its 585th anniversary in 2019.” It was too late to do anything today!

Concert Hall. (In Karlsruhe.)
Tree in Dresden train station.
It was practically already closed and out by the time we got there to visit it for the first time.
The market from above!
