Well it’s been another amazing journey through the country of Germany, visiting Christmas Shop after shop after more Christmas shops, but the final day has come. We kept it simple and slow, getting off to an easy late start and spending a lot of time figuring out travel plans. After that we did another walk through the Christmas Markets, and then headed towards the München Residenz. The residence of Dukes and Kings of Bavaria for centuries, up until around 1912. It’s a grand palace and most every room is colorful and fancy and so ornately furnished and decorated with old paintings, old furniture, and all kinds of neat designs. Much of the palace was burned and destroyed in the war, so much of it had to be reconstructed as best they could.
As night fell we did a final round through the Christmas Markets picking up a few last souvenirs before heading back for the last night! I hope to return soon!
