A Palace And A Museum

Wellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll, due to sleeping in pretty late today which was nice, my plans changed pretty drastically. I decided instead to go to a place called Schloss Nymphenburg, a grand palace built in the 1600’s. It served as a Summer home for emperors of Bavaria of the Wittelsbach family. It’s pretty cool, but not as grand as some of the palaces I’ve seen. It’s also the birthplace of Ludwig II, the fairy tale king, who built Schloss Neuschwanstein.

There’s a huge beautiful park, with more statues, and structures, and geese. Lots of geese.

After that was a lot of figuring out how to get to the next place – the famous Bavarian Motorworks headquarters – or at least to the museum there. It was honestly pretty disappointing for the price. Some of the stuff was neat, but it was basically 85% an advertisement for one of their new electric car models.

Spent the rest of the day walking around the main plaza, and checking out shops and stores – same ones from last time. Ha.
