Free Castle

Well,  I’ll keep it short. Today was a nice day.

Alright picture time.

Naw I’m just kidding. But seriously though, it was a bunch of walking, with lots of simple things, no big major attractions, except the first thing I did, taking a tram to the top of the nearby hill, and walking up a ton more to an observation tower giving a great view all over Freiburg and the Black Forest.

Then I basically just spent the rest of the day walking all over, and over and over again. Museums, fountains, buildings… There’s a small archaeological museum with lots of old Neolithic-man tools, and a collection of old Roman tools and gear. Them Romans were all over the black forest.

Now, it’s time once more for goofy city name of the day! I hope you’re not getting tired of goofy names, because I sure as hell am not, and believe me, there’s plenty of material to work with. Today’s goofy name is: Dingolfing!

Alright, as I mentioned a few days ago, I’m nearly out of storage space for photos, and I really don’t want to delete anything so I came up with a solution, and neither are really ideal. Option 1, was to upgrade my site and bringing up subscription fee fairly substantially along with it, but then allow ads to appear to help make back some of the money. Though I have no idea how much money I would be making back. Option 2, was to just use the website Imgur to host my albums. I’m thinking I’m going to let Imgur hold my pictures since it won’t cost me any more money, and isn’t a whole lot of extra work. So let’s get to it!

Just click the link it will take you to my Freiburg photo album: (It’s a bit out of order, and there’s only 1 photo description, will complete tomorrow. I’m also working on stitching together a big image of the Freiburg Cathedral which is pretty incredible.)

Freiburg Day 1 Album

Unfortunately Imgur does not accept regular video uploads, so I am uploading them to YouTube. Here is a video from atop the observation platform in Freiburg:

And here is a video inside the Freiburg Cathedral (Called the Freiburg Münster):
