Generally the goal is to go to Oktoberfest a few times (depending on length of stay obviously). And today was my third time, I went back, lederhose and all for more rides and carnival food, just as fun this time, though I didn’t stay as long as it just becomes too expensive. You could run out of €100 and not even realize it, but it is definitely worth it.
Afterwards I went and got some very unique souveniers from an antique store – several old bills, including a a hyper inflated 10 billion dollar note from the Weimar Republic, (pre Nazi takeover) from1923. Next I went to the Alte Pinakothek, the gallery museum of many of the northern Rennaissance painters, it is loaded with Rembrandts, Dürers, Peter Paul Rubens, Hans Holbein the Older and many others from then1500s. It was really nice. Mmmmhmmmmmmm.
Slide video from O-fest with different angle. It was so simple and fast but it was so fun each time: https://youtu.be/wRc7QYXUWMc
Came across a street band on the way to the museum, not sure what it was all about, but it was nice: https://youtu.be/ndOtjhx7Ugg
