Hello! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am off on a backpacking by journey by myself through the country of Germany! Here on this page I will keep updates (as much as possible) with stories, pictures, videos and whatever fun and cool stuff I can fill it with from my travels all around the country. It may be difficult to post all the time, as internet access will likely be limited in several places. I am setting this up now so as to become familiar with the creation, layout and design of the page to make it as clean and smooth as possible.

My trip starts on September 8th, after a lengthy flight and a layover I will arrive in Berlin, the first of many, many stops!  Traveling by bus, plane and maybe even boat, whatever it takes to get wherever. From majestic castles, to monuments of the second world war; from amusement parks to the breath-taking mountains of the Bavarian Alps, nothing is off-limits! Except Sauer Kraut, that’s off-limits. My trip is well planned, and loosely scheduled with no hard plans or days set, save for the time of the world’s largest fair, ‘Die Wiesn’, (dee vee-zin) as they call it in Bavaria, better known everywhere else as Oktoberfest. Feel free to comment on any post, I’d love to hear back from anyone and everyone! My having been learning German for the last year and a half will surely come in handy. At the end of the trip I will compile all the images into a slideshow for presentation.
